You must be ready next Thursday to present this work orally as an argumentation to answer the issue "Does travelling broaden the mind?"

Here is some help for the beginning of your presentation: __ Spaces and Exchanges__ I'm going to talk about the notion Spaces and exchanges. The different spaces of the world are nowadays more and more connected to each other. The exchanges can appear on many forms: people, trade, information... and our world is built on the exploration and conquest of new spaces for examples countries since it has become easier nowadays to travel and to cross borders. We can wonder though if these trips and exchanges with people from a different culture are necessary to our own growth and personal fulfillment. Therefore i will try to answer the issue "Does travelling broaden the mind?"

Then, today we also started a new chapter dealing with a new notion 'Forms and places of power'. The issue I suggested is 'Being a British colony... a blessing or a curse?' - As I told you, for this chapter we'll talk about several former colonies now part of the Commonwealth such as Australia, India, South Africa and maybe others if we have time. We started studying this powerpoint. Start working on this as well to be able to participate better in class.
